For an Inland Northwest HORIZONS workshop on “Food Security and Community Food Systems”. In this day-long workshop for Horizons R2/R3 leadership teams, facilitators, trainers, partners, food banks, community gardens/farmers market boards and volunteers, social service agencies, town officials, etc. you will explore the role and importance of food system’s in terms of community prosperity – from basic health and nutrition to canning to production to distribution to creating value-added byproducts.

Cost: FREE to all Washington State and Idaho HORIZONS Community Teams. Please RSVP by March 6th!!
Who: R2 & R3 communities are recommended to come in teams of at least 3 (a leadership team member, a food bank manager/volunteer, a community garden and/or farmers market volunteer, a master gardener and/ or a school partner)
