The KIOSK committee for the Deer Park area Horizons KIOSK project will meet July 28, 1 pm Senior Center.

AGENDA:

#1. Update kiosk construction plan acknowledgement on kiosk.
#2. Attend August 4 Horizons Steering Committee with reports .
#3. August 11 Visualization for the community: meeting action plan Kiosk presentation, report and request for financial donations.
#4. Visitor Center proposal response.
#5. Visitor friendly area Kiosk fundraising.
#6. Create Donor packet Map composition for Deer Park and surrounding area, Clayton,Elk,Chattaroy.

DEER PARK COMMUNITY SERVICE RESOURCE GUIDE

The Deer Park Community Resource Service Guide will make its debut at the Horizons Interactive Workshop and Dessert Event on August 11, at the Deer Park Community Arts Center.

The Resource committee is finalizing all the details on the nicely designed color brochure and the initial print job will allow Deer Park Horizons to share the guide with those participating during the August 11th Event.

#3 Create a youth jobs mentoring program

#7 Reduce Crime
#8 Promote more youth activities
#9 Improve community communication.

There is a tie for number ten

#10 Promote early childhood education and childcare and #10 Improve community leadership skills

These will be the issues at our Visioning Event set for August 11,2009. The location is pending.
