Deer Park Community Garden is growing right along and making progress!
Many pounds of fresh veggies were donated to the Community Green House Food Bank next door.

DPiP Community Garden hopes that the 2013 Garden Season will bring more participation and success!

Many Donate to Community Garden

The list is not comprehensive,  a general idea of the donors to the Deer Park in Progress Community Garden. DPiPCG.


Plot, use of water and power- Schuler's auto repair.

18 tomato plants, 18 pepper plants, 2 flats of broccoli and 1 flat cauliflower- Garden Springs Greenhouse.

Wood for raised beds, soil for raised beds, seeds, hoses, sprinklers, picnic tables tomato cages- local deer park people within the community interested in the garden.

Use of a Bobcat for roto-tilling and soil moving- Pape` Material Handling.

Fencing supplies- Clayton Fair Board.

Labor- headed up by members of Christ's Church of Deer Park, Vine Church and other community members.

DPiPCG Committee Members Jacob Schuler and Katie Birky and others have spent many hours planning, organizing, collecting donated items and working on the garden.


A Big Thank You to all who have helped and continue to help with this project.

DPiP Community Garden






DPiP Community Garden, located off  First street behind Schuler's Automotive, west side of Precious Metal and south of First Street Grille was planted Memorial Day weekend May 2012.

Almost all the supplies were donated by businesses and nonprofits in the Deer Park community and the work was done by community residents interested in gardening.
