DEER PARK COMMUNITY RESOURCE GUIDE

The Deer Park community has requested a brochure; a way to get details available about the community concerning local services, lists of information for Deer Park churches, schools and vital locations needed such as the Deer Park Post Office, City Hall, Senior Center, Greenhouse Food Bank, and other local services and resources.
Last year the Deer Park Horizons group identified poverty as being not just a lack of finances but also resources. They formed a committee to produce this brochure, accompanied with a map to locate the services.
The committee did not want it to be a commercial retail project, but a community project compiling the services and resources that the Deer Park Community and surrounding areas have to offer.
It has taken a long time to complete the brochure because the leg work and design work which included many, many donated hours by a dwindling committee. The project received a very welcome and much appreciated donation from Deer Park Rotary to pay for the printing. The printing of 2000 brochures on glossy stock tri-fold paper for each brochure has taken place.
They will be distributed in Deer Park at various places including the Deer Park Chamber, Deer Park Library and city hall.
Deer Park in Progress Nonprofit (DPiP)
(Formerly, Deer Park Horizons 3) is very happy to share this information with the Deer Park Community and surrounding area.
