Coalition for Early Learning in Rural North Spokane County (Deer Park)

In response to needed services and resources, the newly founded Coalition for Early Learning of Rural North Spokane County is holding it’s first event on February 26 at Deer Park Elementary School. The Coalition currently includes Deer Park School District, Riverside School District, Community-Minded Enterprises, Kiwanis Club of Deer Park, League of Women Voters, Rotary Club of Deer Park, and Spokane County Library District.

The objectives of the program are:

• To discuss ways and means of providing families with children (birth to 5 yrs old) in our communities with the best access to quality care and education possible, in order to enrich their futures and the future of our communities.
• To organize our community members and resources toward the development of (birth through 5 years) programs that meet the highest standards for our children’s safety and future.

Anyone with the responsibility of caring for children (birth through 5 years) is invited to attend this planning meeting Spaghetti Dinner at the Deer Park Elementary School on February 26th. For more information about the Early Learning Coalition please visit the link below.
