In this workshop for board members, volunteers, and staff of Spokane area nonprofits, nationally-renowned trainer Andy Robinson will offer practical, specific ideas and tools to increasing board involvement and effectiveness in fundraising: *Helping your board to know that yes, fundraising is possible – even in a bad economy * Why board members resist fundraising * Creating and using board "job descriptions" to recruit willing fundraisers * Identifying potential donors * Soliciting big gifts face to face Registration deadline: Friday October 2.
